pickaway county ag day
Pickaway County Ag Day is a partner project of Pickaway County Farm Bureau, Pickaway Soil and Water Conservation District, and local FFA chapters. The goal of Ag Day is to cultivate the next generation of agriculture by providing relevant, hands on, visual, and engaging youth-focused education that increases our students' knowledge and builds awareness of food and farming in the Pickaway County community. Ag Day takes place each fall at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds for approximately 800 fourth grade students.
We also have Virtual Ag Day activities created for anyone who would like to use them! Click on the button below to access local farm tour videos and interactive, virtual activities created to go along with each video topic: dairy cattle, hogs, corn, bees, beef cattle, and soybeans.

2023This was our first year splitting Ag Day into two days to have smaller numbers at the event each day in order to make Ag Day more engaging. Teays Valley & Westfall attended Ag Day on Thursday; Circleville, Logan Elm, New Hope, Crossroads, and a home school group attended on Friday. This was a success!
