Pick Up Info
Fingerlings must be picked up at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds, Hog Barn (enter from Lancaster Pike entrance by Ankrom Building) on March 26 between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Fish are guaranteed to be delivered in good condition, however, we cannot guarantee survival after being picked up.

- Bring a 10-20 gallon garbage can or 5 gallon bucket to hold your fish.
- Line container with non-deodorized plastic liner (30 gallon trash bag). This will be filled with oxygen so fish can breathe!
- Use a twist tie or twine to close the bag; not a lid.
- Fill container 1/3 full of your own pond water. General rule of thumb: 1 container per 100 small fish, 1 container per 1,000 minnows, 1 container per 4-5 large fish.
- Orders are not pre-packaged and will be filled upon arrival.

Fathead Minnow - $0.08/each or $8.00/100
1-3” fingerling- a forage fish; can grow to 3”; readily consumed by predatory species Hybrid Bluegill - $1.00/each 2-4” fingerling- a forage and sport fish; know to rapidly grow to 10”; the primary prey of largemouth bass Redear Shellcracker - $1.00/each 2-4”- closely related to the bluegill; popular pan fish; can grow up to 11”; eats snails, crayfish, and small fish Largemouth Bass - $1.30/each 2-3” fingerling- primarily a sport fish; can grow over 25” and 14 lbs.; ravenous predatory feeder; will eat anything that fits in mouth Yellow Perch - $1.10/each 2-3” fingerling- requires brush or weeds to lay eggs during the first part of April |
