Fish Fingerling Sale 2026

Pick Up Info
Fingerlings must be picked up at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds, Hog Barn (enter from Lancaster Pike entrance by Ankrom Building) on ​Friday, April 3 between 9-10:30 a.m. Fish are guaranteed to be delivered in good condition, however, we cannot guarantee survival after being picked up.
  • Bring a 10-20 gallon garbage can or 5 gallon bucket to hold your fish.
  • Line container with non-deodorized plastic liner (30 gallon trash bag). This will be filled with oxygen so fish can breathe!
  • Use a twist tie or twine to close the bag; not a lid.
  • Fill container 1/3 full of your own pond water. General rule of thumb: 1 container per 100 small fish, 1 container per 1,000 minnows, 1 container per 4-5 large fish.
  • Orders are not pre-packaged and will be filled upon arrival.

Tax Exempt Form
Required by the state beginning January 1, 2022, Pickaway SWCD will be charging sales tax (7.25%) for items rented and sold. If you are a tax-exempt entity and you purchase or rent items from the District, please turn your tax-exempt form into the office.
